David Luber has been named the new Vice President of National
Marketing for Hard Rock International.
David Luber has spent all of his adult life in business. David Luber created his
first company, a slogan T-shirt company, when he was just nineteen years old.
Two years later he needs a marketing vehicle to advertise his shirts so he
created College Mansion; a college marketing company that covered everything
outside of the classroom, which went on to become the largest college marketing
company with nearly five thousand college student interns and participants.
David Luber attended Florida International University from 2001 to 2003, where
he was a business major. He went to FIU on a scholarship, and played on the
university’s Division I basketball team. During that time, he was also a
spokesman for the Student Athletic Association Committee. In 2003 he enrolled
at the University of North Florida, where he studied philosophy and political
science and graduated in 2006. Since that time, he has received his
certification in Hospitality Marketing from Cornell University, and at present
is enrolled at Harvard University Extension School, where he is completing work
on his Masters in General Management.
Before coming to Hard Rock International, David Luber spent
three years at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, where he headed marketing as Vice
President of New Markets. He led the casino’s marketing and sales efforts for
more than three years, successfully executing strategies and marketing programs
for domestic and international markets. His dedication to his guests made him
one of the most successful marketers in the hospitality industry.
